Design effects people’s life more than they think. Everyday people uses products that have been designed in a certain way with certain goals in mind. Some products are easy to use and then there are other products that are not. Even the smartest people can feel dum when trying to control a air conditioner in a hotel or change the channel on a new TV. In this blog I will write a summary from the book The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman.
The book Design of Everyday Things was published in 2013 by Don Norman, a professor and an executive: he was Vice President of Advance Technology at Apple and his company, the Nielsen Norman Group helps companies produce human-centered products and services. The book was first published in 1988 but has been rewritten since the technology improves and changes year by year.
